Associated American Karate System Mission Statement
American Karate School
PURPOSE OF THE AAKS
The purpose of the AAKS is to oversee and establish the policies and guidelines of the “Dojos” (schools) that teach BuKaraDo and AAM-KA-JUTSU.
Our school system is a humanitarian system. We aspire for the development of our student’s greater health, both mentally and physically, their happiness, and their safety. We strive to enable men, women, and children to be confident when faced with adverse situations.
Our schools consist of teaching, studying, and practicing the art of self-defense with an emphasis placed on self competition. We are highly concerned with the overall development of the following character traits: honor, respect, trust dedication, loyalty, integrity, sacrifice, control, courage, and wisdom.
Our instructors are students and achievers who are highly educated, trained, and experienced in Martial Arts. Our schools are a place where all nationalities, creeds, and religions can practice Martial Arts.
AAKS students are not to participate in any Martial Arts program or event that is not approved or sanctioned by the AAKS.
